Understanding You &

Your Project

Your project is about you as much as it is the building. To ensure that we can structure the project correctly we begin with an initial meeting, often that’s on site. We get a feel for you, the space, and your vision.

We’ll understand the design parameters, challenges, your wish list, and budgets.

Information & Data

The success and accuracy of a project can be traced back to information. How much information and what level of detail was available at the start.

Once we have an idea of your vision, we’ll start gathering information to see what’s possible. This may form existing building, topographical and ecological surveys and there is a plethora of other options. We’ll select the correct surveys and research relevant to your project to inform the process going forwards.

Design

Armed with all the data & your vision, our designers go to work.

Producing initial sketch ideas for our discussion and continuing to develop the design from a concept through to complete and detailed construction information for use onsite.

Our design team with the support of our trusted network of specialist consultants will seek any permissions required along with developing the designs to include any structural or other design requirements.

We always aim for design that’s elegant, beautiful, and most importantly, enhances your lifestyle.

Budgeting, Costs, Tendering & Value Engineering

Costs. Every project has a bottom line.

Reviewing tenders can be a daunting task. Why is this cost higher than that one? what have they excluded that the others haven’t?

We look to simplify this by getting our designs costed by professional estimators giving you a cost for the project based on national market standards. A baseline.

From this we can review any value engineering requirements but also use this as a marker to know whether tenders are above or below the baseline and critically, we can be specific about the area’s which may require attention.

Build 

The fun part. We start to build. We’ll handle all the client actions, keep you informed of progress, liaising with the contractor on your behalf and ensuring to keep the project on track delivering your vision.

Sign-off

Completion. The day you’ve been waiting for to enjoy your new space.

There is a lot of paperwork at the end of a build project that you don’t want to deal with. We’ll handle all of that, ensuring all the standards are met and building certificates are signed off.
